About the department
Specialist assessment and coordinated hospital care
The Emergency Department evaluates urgent medical and surgical conditions at any time of day. Initial assessment determines clinical priority, followed by examination, tests, observation, treatment or admission when required.
Services and clinical support
Our approach
Emergency care is multidisciplinary. The emergency team can request support from the hospital’s surgical, orthopaedic, anaesthesia, obstetric, paediatric and radiology services according to the patient’s condition.
Information for international patients
International visitors should bring identification, current medication information, allergy details and any available medical records. For a life-threatening emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
Send only the records requested by the international patient team and wait for medical date confirmation before booking fixed travel.
