Body Contouring Surgery in Istanbul

Personalised body-contouring procedures supported by hospital-based surgical and anaesthesia care.

Treatment overview

A personal plan, from consultation to recovery

Body contouring can address localised fat, loose skin or changes after pregnancy or major weight loss. Planning considers skin quality, body proportions, previous operations, weight stability, general health and the trade-off between contour improvement and scarring.

Important

Information on this page is general. Suitability, alternatives, risks and expected outcomes can only be assessed by a qualified physician who has reviewed your health and examined you.

Treatment options

The most appropriate option depends on diagnosis, anatomy, health and goals. A treatment name alone is not a recommendation.

Liposuction
Tummy tuck
Arm and thigh lift
Body lift

Who may be considered?

These points describe common assessment themes, not automatic eligibility:

  • Adults near a stable, sustainable weight
  • Patients with localised contour or loose-skin concerns
  • People with realistic expectations about scars and recovery
  • Patients able to follow mobility and aftercare instructions

Before you travel

The surgeon reviews health, medications, smoking, previous abdominal or body surgery, weight changes and future pregnancy plans where relevant. Photographs can support an initial review, but physical examination is essential before the final plan.

What the procedure pathway involves

Liposuction removes selected fat deposits; skin-removal procedures reshape tissue and create planned scars. These procedures are not substitutes for weight-loss treatment. Your surgeon explains incision location, garment use, drains when relevant and whether a combined operation is appropriate.

Recovery and follow-up

Early movement, wound care and clot-prevention measures are important. Swelling, bruising, tightness, temporary numbness and fatigue are common considerations. Activity restrictions and garment instructions vary by procedure.

Planning your visit: The recommended stay varies by procedure, combination plan and post-operative progress.

Safety and considerations

Risks can include bleeding, infection, fluid collection, blood clots, contour irregularity, delayed healing, scarring, altered sensation or further surgery. Smoking and some health conditions may increase risk and affect suitability.

Common questions

Body Contouring FAQ

Is body contouring a weight-loss treatment?

No. Body-contouring surgery is intended to reshape selected areas. Weight management and bariatric treatment are assessed separately.

Can liposuction and tummy tuck be combined?

They may be combined for some patients, but the decision depends on health, operating time, treatment extent and recovery risk.

Will I have scars?

Skin-removal procedures create scars. Your surgeon explains their planned location, expected development and scar-care options before treatment.

How long should I avoid heavy activity?

Restrictions depend on the operation and your healing. You receive a staged activity plan and should follow the clinical team’s advice.
