Hair Transplant in Istanbul

Personalised hair and beard restoration using FUE, DHI and Sapphire techniques in a hospital setting.

Treatment overview

A personal plan, from consultation to recovery

A hair transplant is not a one-size-fits-all procedure. Our team reviews the pattern of hair loss, donor-area quality, scalp condition, age, medical history and long-term expectations before proposing a technique. The goal is a natural-looking plan that protects the donor area and remains appropriate as hair loss evolves.

Important

Information on this page is general. Suitability, alternatives, risks and expected outcomes can only be assessed by a qualified physician who has reviewed your health and examined you.

Treatment options

The most appropriate option depends on diagnosis, anatomy, health and goals. A treatment name alone is not a recommendation.

DHI hair transplant
Sapphire FUE

Who may be considered?

These points describe common assessment themes, not automatic eligibility:

  • Adults with a stable or clinically assessed pattern of hair loss
  • Patients with an adequate donor area
  • People seeking hair or beard restoration after specialist review
  • Patients able to follow the recommended aftercare plan

Before you travel

Your remote evaluation normally begins with clear photographs of the front, sides, crown and donor area, together with information about previous treatment and relevant health conditions. The clinical team may request further information before confirming whether an in-person examination is required.

What the procedure pathway involves

The selected technique determines how follicles are extracted and implanted. Local anaesthesia is commonly used, and the procedure may take several hours. Your clinical team explains the proposed graft plan, expected limitations and the reasons for recommending FUE, DHI, Sapphire FUE or another approach.

Recovery and follow-up

Temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity and scabbing can occur after treatment. You receive written washing and sleeping instructions, guidance on activity and a schedule for sharing follow-up photographs. Transplanted hair typically changes over time, so progress is assessed over months rather than days.

Planning your visit: Your coordinator recommends a travel schedule only after the clinical team has reviewed your case.

Safety and considerations

A hair transplant is a medical procedure and results vary. Donor supply, ongoing hair loss, healing, smoking, scalp conditions and adherence to aftercare can affect the outcome. Your physician discusses procedure-specific risks and realistic expectations before consent.

Common questions

Hair Transplant FAQ

Which hair transplant technique is right for me?

The technique depends on your donor area, hair characteristics, treatment area and clinical goals. A specialist review is needed before FUE, DHI or Sapphire FUE can be recommended.

Can I receive an assessment before travelling?

Yes. The international patient team can organise an initial remote review using photographs and health information. An in-person examination is still required before the final procedure plan.

How long should I stay in Istanbul?

The recommended stay depends on the procedure plan and follow-up schedule. Your coordinator confirms suitable travel dates after medical review.

When will I see the final result?

Hair growth develops gradually and varies between patients. Your clinical team explains the expected stages and monitors progress through follow-up photographs.
